Urban Rediscovery
The Urban Rediscovery Programs: The Urban Rediscovery and Junior Urban Rediscovery Programs are part of the AP~ND family of programs.  Both of these programs include regular group sessions that provide youth the opportunity to experience cultural and recreational activities in positive and safe surroundings.  Youth in these programs are able to take part in different outings, and cultural outdoor education programming elements as well.  The Urban and Junior Urban Rediscovery Programs run every year from October to March and are open to all youth! 

New Moon Program – Girls Only

The New Moon program is FREE and open to ALL girls ages 13-17 which provides the opportunity to learn from Elders and Cultural leaders, participate in culturally focused activities and participate in an on the land camp that incorporates Aboriginal culture and teachings.

Urban Rediscovery Program

“The Urban Rediscovery Program is open to youth ages 13-17 that are motivated to learn leadership and life skills, develop a deeper cultural understanding and positive cultural awareness, and learn how to build healthy friendships in a safe environment.”

Junior Urban Rediscovery Program

“The Junior Urban Rediscovery Program is open to youth ages 8-12 and promotes a cultural and safe environment for youth to start developing positive life skills, build self-esteem, establish friendships and a sense of community, and have lots of fun!”
