Ghost River
Rediscovery’s
Risk Management
Ghost River Rediscovery’s
involvement with youth requires that we have a comprehensive risk
management program which recognizes the inherent and potential risks
that our participants may encounter during our programs. In order
to ensure participant, staff and volunteer welfare and safety, Ghost
River Rediscovery requires its staff and volunteers to undergo two
security clearance checks before we can consider an offer of employment
or acceptance into our volunteer program. Please see details of
security clearance
A Police Information
Check (PIC) and a Child Welfare Information System Check (Intervention
Record Check) will allow Ghost River Rediscovery to determine the
level of risk that a volunteer applicant brings to the organization
and weigh that information against our responsibility as an organization.
The forms are available at our office – please feel free to
drop by or call ahead.
