Casey Eagle Speaker – Director
I am a member of the Blood Tribe in Southern Alberta within the Blackfoot confederation. I live and worked in Calgary for the past 23 years with the last 13 years with Hull Child and Family Services as their Aboriginal Resource Liaison/Consultant (Elder). I have provided cross cultural awareness within Calgary and throughout the province and parts of Canada. I was also one of the original three people who help establish the Aboriginal standards that child welfare now implements for all service providers, along with that I have also helped in the development of The River of Life workshop that addresses the issue of youth suicide in the Aboriginal community. |
